1. Who we are

Electrician Done Right South Shields is a marketing and booking service. We do not carry out electrical work ourselves. When you contact us, we pass your job to an independent, qualified electrician from our network of partner companies, who carries out the work.

2. Quotes and booking

When you call or use our enquiry forms, we take the details of your job and arrange for a partner electrician to contact you or attend. Any quote you receive is for the work described. If the electrician finds the job is different once on site, they will explain why and agree any change in price with you before going ahead.

3. Who carries out the work

The partner electrician is responsible for the electrical work, including meeting the current wiring regulations and issuing any certificates such as an Electrical Installation Certificate, Minor Works Certificate or EICR. You can ask us for the name and registration details of the electrician attending your job at any time before the work starts.

4. Payment

5. Cancelling

If you book with us by phone or online, you usually have 14 days to cancel. If you ask for work to start within those 14 days, for example in an emergency, you may have to pay for work already carried out if you then cancel.

6. Guarantees and complaints
